Abstract
- Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) have been widely explored and applied in many fields. However, the poor electrical conductivity of many traditional MOFs greatly limits their application in electrochemistry, especially in energy storage. In this study, a typical cMOF (Ni-HHTP, HHTP = 2,3,6,7,10,11-hexahydroxytriphenylene) was compounded with MXene nanosheets and a series of composites, namely MXene@Ni-HHTP-x (x = 1–8), were obtained. As a result, when MXene@Ni-HHTP-2 was assembled as a positive electrode material in an asymmetric supercapacitor, it achieved a specific capacitance of 416.6 F g<superscript>−1</superscript> at 0.5 A g<superscript>−1</superscript>, manifesting a good performance in energy storage.
