Abstract

A new report from researchers at King's College London explores the use of creative practice in representing and communicating the experiences of slow violence, specifically focusing on the overindebtedness of garment workers and farmers in Cambodia. The research highlights the value of creative practice in deepening our understanding of the temporalities of debt and over-indebtedness, as well as the ethical importance of care and responsibility in geographical knowledge creation. The paper emphasizes the political geographies of slow violence and encourages political geographers to embrace creative practice. The research has been peer-reviewed and is available for further exploration. [Extracted from the article]
