Abstract

This article discusses the findings of a study on the use of antibody rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) for COVID-19 in Indonesia. The study evaluates the performance and characteristics of various antibody RDTs and their accuracy in differentiating between past and current infections. The authors highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the study, including its retrospective nature and the need for enhanced standardization and quality control measures in the manufacture and application of RDTs. They emphasize the importance of addressing these limitations and implementing strategies to improve the reliability and effectiveness of antibody RDTs for COVID-19 diagnosis.
