Abstract
- A new report from Air University Islamabad discusses research on surplus food donations and intentions to throw away leftover food in restaurants, specifically focusing on Pakistan's developing economy. The study conducted a survey of 1,178 diners and found that food quality, novelty, quantity, and motives for taking away leftovers are significantly related to food waste reduction behavior. The research also concluded that participants' ages have a significant influence on food waste reduction behavior. This study aims to fill a gap in the existing literature by developing a model and testing it using Pakistani diners. [Extracted from the article]
