Abstract

A recent report from the Medical University of Lublin in Poland provides new insights into chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). The study focused on the expression of certain molecules on gamma-delta T cells in CLL patients. The researchers found that the expression of CD226 on these cells was lower in advanced CLL and correlated with certain blood markers. Additionally, they observed an upregulation of CD155 on CLL-derived B cells. The findings suggest that CLL may be a potential target for anti-TIGIT immunotherapy. [Extracted from the article]
