Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at Dicle University aimed to determine the factors associated with final height in patients with central precocious puberty (CPP) who received gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogs (GnRHa) treatment. The study found that 94% of the patients who received GnRHa treatment reached their target height, with 35.8% exceeding it. The researchers also found that GnRHa treatment did not have a negative effect on body mass index (BMI). Factors such as height-SDS and predicted adult height (PAH) on admission were associated with a greater final height. [Extracted from the article]
