Abstract
- A recent report from the Veterinary School in Lugo, Spain evaluated the performance of different commercial loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) master mixes for detecting foodborne pathogens. The study compared the amplification speed, performance with decreasing DNA concentrations, and the effects of various additives on five different master mixes. The results showed significant differences among the master mixes, with OptiGene providing the fastest amplification and showing less detrimental effects. The study provides valuable insights for the scientific community in selecting appropriate reagents for developing new methods. [Extracted from the article]
