Abstract

A recent report from HLL Lifecare Ltd. in Kerala, India, explores the molecular effects of a novel combination of drugs for the treatment of triple negative breast cancer. The study found that the combination of sertraline and plumbagin with ormeloxifene showed promising results in inhibiting tumor growth and inducing apoptosis in breast cancer cells. The combination also demonstrated anti-angiogenic effects and upregulated the expression of tumor-suppressing genes. The researchers concluded that this combination could be a potential chemotherapeutic intervention for triple negative breast cancer. Further research is needed to validate these findings.
