Abstract
- This article explores the benefits and challenges of using the first-person voice in scientific writing. The author shares their personal experience of having to change their writing style to conform to traditional norms. They argue that writing in the first person can enhance readability, conciseness, and accessibility of scientific articles. The article also addresses concerns about the use of first person in scientific papers and highlights the increasing acceptance of first-person pronouns in the field.
