Tuneable thiol exchange linkers for traceless drug release applications in prodrugs and ADCs.

We describe a versatile and tuneable thiol responsive linker system using thiovinylketones, which relies on the conjugate addition–elimination mechanism of Michael acceptors for the traceless release of therapeutics.
