Abstract
- A preprint abstract from osf.io discusses the therapeutic alliance between therapists and clients, specifically focusing on the potential conflicts that may arise between different generations, such as Generation X (Gen X) and Generation Z (Gen Z). The review of existing studies suggests that generational differences can negatively impact the therapeutic relationship and treatment effectiveness. To address this issue, Relational Cultural Therapy (RCT) is proposed as a method to bridge the generational gap. However, further research is needed to determine the effectiveness of RCT in mitigating generational discrepancies. This preprint has not yet undergone peer review. [Extracted from the article]
