Abstract

This article discusses the use of narrative psychology analyses to explore the responses of alcoholics and test alcoholism theories. It advocates for a systematic literature review paradigm called Systematic Integrative Theory Construct Review (SITCR) or Systematic Integrative Review (SIR) to integrate and interpret various phenomena discussed in reviewed papers. The article proposes a Multiple Integrative Dynamic Systematic Circular Open (MIDSCO) integrative alcoholism theory and a humanistic methodological paradigm called Theoretical Construction and Narrative Verifying (TCNV). The L'Assommoir novel is used as analytic data to analyze the relationship between alcoholism and human nature components. However, it is important to note that this preprint has not been peer-reviewed. [Extracted from the article]
