Abstract

This article provides a concise overview of the band Nutz, who were part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement in the 1980s. Despite their age, Nutz had already established themselves in the British rock scene and released several albums. Due to a lack of support from their record label and changes within the band, they changed their name to Rage and signed with Carrere Records. The band released three albums under the name Rage, featuring a mix of original songs and cover tunes with a shift towards a more melodic rock sound. Despite touring and opening for notable bands, they struggled to achieve commercial success and eventually disbanded after the death of their drummer. The possibility of a reunion remains uncertain.
