Abstract

Processing Based on Genetic Algorithm H section steel is one of the most widely used profiles in mechanical and construction engineering and is often used as columns and beams in steel structures. Standard H section steel cannot meet the requirements of large-scale steel structures due to its small sizes, so welding technology is often used to splice steel plates to produce non-standard H section steel. The use of a rotating tyre carrier to flexibly adjust the posture of H section steel in the welding process can improve the production efficiency. The motion scheme of the rotating tyre carrier directly driven by a gear motor is designed, and its mechanical model is established. With the optimization objective of minimizing the drive torque when supporting the rotation of the H section steel of various specifications, the scale of the rotating tyre carrier is optimized by using the genetic algorithm and traditional interior point method. Software ADAMS is used for virtual prototyping simulation to verify the effectiveness of the optimization method. The research provides an effective optimization and calculation method for the scale problem of complex mechanisms. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
