Abstract
- A study conducted by the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli in Caserta, Italy, examined the fear of hypoglycemia in parents of children with type 1 diabetes before and after training in intranasal glucagon administration. The study found that after nine months of training, parents' fear of hypoglycemia significantly decreased. The study also found that parents with high trait anxiety had higher levels of fear of hypoglycemia compared to those with low trait anxiety. The researchers concluded that training and educating parents on intranasal glucagon use can help them effectively manage hypoglycemic episodes and alleviate fear. [Extracted from the article]
