Abstract
- A new report from the University of Parma in Italy explores the potential of organic agriculture and agroecology in building sustainable food systems. The researchers conducted a case study of an organic and agroecological group of producers in the Pampa Region of Argentina, using a participatory action research approach. They employed three interconnected methodologies: sustainability assessment, participatory value chain development, and stakeholder analysis. The study found that the participatory assessment was useful in evaluating the current situation of the group and identifying the requirements for upscaling the system. [Extracted from the article]
