Abstract
- This document provides information about a clinical trial that is currently recruiting participants. The trial aims to compare two different techniques for pain management during laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy surgery. The first technique is ultrasound-guided quadratus lumborum block, where an anesthetic is injected between the quadratus lumborum and psoas major muscles. The second technique is laparoscopic preperitoneal local anesthetic infiltration, where an anesthetic is injected into the preperitoneal space. The trial will measure various outcomes, including pain levels, medication requirements, and length of hospital stay. The trial is open to individuals between the ages of 20 and 50 with a BMI of 35-50 kg/m². [Extracted from the article]
