Abstract

This study aimed to compare the performance of various existing dryers. The present analysis was based on several parameters, including Build ease, upfront cost, portability, mobility, and thermal characteristics are all important considerations and other parameters that are also essential in determining components of excellence of the dried product. The utilization of photovoltaic panels as a source of electricity for running electrical components has been well established. The factors examined included climatic factors, geometry, lights, heat exchangers, heat pumps, air circulation modes, and changeable-phase materials. The results obtained from the study revealed that all of these factors played a significant role in determining the efficiency of the solar drying system. This combination of technologies has shown promise in providing a sustainable and reliable energy source for various applications. As such, the use of solar dryers based on the convection mechanism holds great promise for sustainable and affordable drying applications. Incorporating the convection mechanism into the existing array of solar dryers is believed to contribute to advancing and unifying solar drying technology. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
