The review found that VI-RADS scoring accurately predicted muscle invasion, aiding in distinguishing non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) from muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC). VI-RADS potentially identified patients who would benefit from repeat transurethral resection of bladder tumor (re-TURBT) and those for whom it could be safely omitted.
