Abstract

A new report from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus highlights the role of technology in improving patient care. UCHealth, Colorado's largest health system, has developed a Virtual Health Center (VHC) that integrates innovative digital health solutions to address patient needs across its 12 hospitals. The VHC has proven to be transformative, providing high-quality care at scale, reducing staff burden, and creating new career pathways in virtual health. The process involved identifying needs, vetting solutions, piloting them, and integrating them within the electronic health record. This research was funded by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and the National Institute on Aging. [Extracted from the article]
