Abstract

The article discusses the evaluation of participation and recruitment bias in a real-world data (RWD) study called REALYSA, which focuses on newly diagnosed lymphoma patients. The study found that 54% of patients were included in the program, and factors such as age, gender, lymphoma subtype, performance status, and comorbidities were analyzed. The findings provide insights into patient participation in RWD programs and contribute to the understanding of lymphoma treatment strategies. The study also found that certain factors, such as disease aggressiveness and management approach, influenced the inclusion rate in the program. However, the study had limitations and further research is needed to better understand selection bias in real-world lymphoma cohorts. [Extracted from the article]
