Abstract
- This research presents a real-time method for detecting screen damage on mobile devices using accelerometer data without the use of machine learning. The method utilizes a continuous stream of accelerometer readings to detect changes in the device's motion that indicate screen damage. The proposed system can detect screen damage in real-time, as it occurs, providing an immediate alert to the user. The system was tested on a dataset of real-world devices and found to be highly effective in detecting screen damage with minimal false alarms and without the need for machine learning models.
