Abstract
- Chris Collins, a former jockey and event rider, embodies the values of Olympism, including excellence, respect, and friendship. He had a successful career in racing and eventing, achieving numerous accomplishments such as third place in the 1965 Grand National and winning the Pardubice, among others. However, he was never able to compete in the Olympics due to the boycott in 1980. After retiring from riding, he served as chairman of selectors for the British equestrian team at the 1984 Olympics. Chris's passion for horses and his remarkable life experiences make him a respected figure in the equestrian world. [Extracted from the article]
