Radially Symmetric Positive Solutions of the Dirichlet Problem for the p -Laplace Equation.

We consider the p-Laplace boundary value problem with the Dirichlet boundary condition. A new lower estimate for positive solutions of the problem is obtained. As an application of this new lower estimate, some sufficient conditions for the existence and nonexistence of positive solutions for the p-Laplace problem are obtained. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
