Abstract

Researchers at Nanchang University have conducted a study on the regulation of CD73 on NAD metabolism and its interplay with tumor immunity and tumor metabolism. CD73, a cell surface-bound nucleotidase, has been found to play a crucial role in immune escape, cell adhesion, migration, and adenosine production. The study reveals that CD73 is involved in the transport and metabolism of NAD, which regulates tumor biological processes and promotes growth and proliferation. The findings suggest that CD73 could be a potential target for cancer therapies. [Extracted from the article]
