Abstract

A review of 26 studies was conducted to examine the stability of the therapeutic alliance between individuals from Generation X and Generation Z. The review found that generational differences can negatively impact the therapeutic relationship and overall treatment effectiveness. To address this issue, relational cultural therapy (RCT) is suggested as a method to bridge generational conflicts. However, further research is needed to determine the effectiveness of RCT in mitigating generational discrepancies. [Extracted from the article]
