Abstract
- A study conducted at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University in Xi'an, China analyzed the clinical characteristics of pediatric voice disorders. The study included 1782 pediatric patients with voice disorders and found a notable male predominance across all age groups. The most prevalent condition was vocal cord nodules, followed by vocal cord polyps. Other diseases included laryngeal papillomas, vocal fold movement impairment, vocal cord cysts, and benign laryngeal tumors.
