Bryony Richardson, an interior designer, and her husband Laurence moved from Brixton to Jersey in search of a more rural life after having their first child. They discovered a neglected 1840s townhouse called Le Rocher and decided to restore it. Bryony focused on the entrance porch and replaced it with an elegant metal frame, setting the tone for the house. She used colors inspired by the surrounding nature, such as lichen and bracken hues, throughout the house. Bryony also reconfigured the kitchen layout and incorporated bespoke cabinetry.
