Abstract

A recent study conducted at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in China has developed a modular fluorescence flow cytometry (M-FCM) system that allows for flexible arrangement of fluorescence channels. This system eliminates crosstalk among the channels and provides a multifunctional platform for various biophysical measurements. The M-FCM system was successfully used to evaluate cell viability in drug screening and showed promising results. This research opens up new possibilities for the multivariate analysis of cellular characteristics and has the potential for future upgrades and applications in different fields.
