Abstract
- Researchers at Tan Tock Seng Hospital have conducted a study on the use of fibrin glue as a surgical adjunct in bone grafting for fracture non-unions. The study involved adult patients with long bone fractures that had undergone non-union and required bone grafting. The results showed that fibrin glue appeared to be a safe adjunct for the treatment of non-union of long bone fractures, although it did not demonstrate a faster time to union. The study concluded that fibrin glue could hold the bone graft in place effectively. [Extracted from the article]
