Der Ausdruck der Zukunft in Presseberichten im deutsch-ungarischen Vergleich.

The article focuses on the German and Hungarian present and future tenses and the Hungarian present+majd construction in the function of future time reference. Using a corpus of press reports of business, network and weather, a contrastive analysis is made of which factors determine the use of the grammatical means of expressing the future time and how. In particular, frequency, co-occurrence with temporal and modal adverbials, the semantic properties of full verb lexemes and use in subordinate clauses after communicative verbs are analysed. The linguistic data and tendencies are compared with the results of corpus analysis for language of immediacy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
