Abstract
- A case report from Virginia Commonwealth University describes a successful simultaneous liver and kidney transplantation (SLKT) in a highly sensitized O recipient with organs from an A2 donor. The recipient was a 59-year-old woman with chronic kidney disease and liver failure. The study found that SLKT is feasible in patients with both donor-specific HLA antibodies and high anti-A2 titers. This research provides valuable insights into the field of transplant medicine and kidney transplants. [Extracted from the article]
