Abstract
- The article focuses on a study conducted at the University of Minnesota evaluating different focal tumor ablation techniques combined with anti-programmed cell death-1 (PD-1) immunotherapy in a murine colorectal cancer model. The study found that irreversible electroporation (IRE) showed the most significant synergistic effect with anti-PD-1 therapy, leading to the greatest delay in tumor growth, longest tumor-free survival, and enhanced T cell infiltration.
