Abstract
- The article reports on recent research from Campbell University examining the effects of Delta(9)-Tetrahydrocannabinol (Delta(9)-THC) and JWH-073, a cannabinoid in K2/Spice, on cardiac tissue and vascular reactivity. Topics discussed include the cardiovascular impact of these substances, differences in their effects on cell viability and mesenteric vascular reactivity, and the greater potential for vascular adverse events associated with JWH-073 compared to Delta(9)-THC.
