OP06.03: Preoperative sonographic evaluation of adnexal masses using the new Ovarian‐Adnexal Reporting and Data System.

This article compares the accuracy of two methods, the Risk of Malignancy Index (RMI) and the Ovarian-Adnexal Reporting and Data System (O-RADS), in predicting the malignancy of ovarian masses. The study analyzed data from 453 cases and found that O-RADS, based on the International Ovarian Tumor Analysis (IOTA) ADNEX model, had a better performance than RMI in preoperative assessment. O-RADS had a higher sensitivity for predicting malignancy and a higher area under the receiver-operating characteristic curve (AUC).
