EP24.17: Experience in the diagnosis of endometriosis with ultrasound mapping versus magnetic resonance imaging.

This article discusses the use of ultrasound mapping and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the diagnosis of endometriosis. The study was conducted at a University Hospital between 2016 and 2023, with 630 patients evaluated using ultrasound mapping and 84 patients undergoing MRI as a complementary imaging technique. The results showed that ultrasound mapping identified a higher percentage of abnormalities in both the anterior and posterior compartments compared to MRI.
