Abstract
- This article from Tread magazine features Adam Pitale's 1978 Ford Bronco, which he purchased and restored to maintain its original 1970s aesthetic. The exterior of the Bronco had already been repainted and restored before Adam bought it, but he made some additional upgrades, such as adding cab clearance lights and a dual sunroof area. Inside, he worked with McCall's Upholstery to recover the seats with leather skins and cloth inserts, and he installed a RetroSounds head unit and new speakers for a high-quality audio experience. Adam also increased the Bronco's off-road capabilities by adding a lift kit, new wheels, and disc brake upgrades. The factory 400M engine was rebuilt by The Carb Shop, and Adam aimed for 300hp but achieved 285hp. Overall, the restoration process took about three years, and Adam plans to drive the Bronco more in the future. [Extracted from the article]
