Abstract
- A recent study conducted at Assiut University in Egypt examined the relationship between autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and atopic diseases, such as allergies and asthma, in children. The study found that children with ASD had a higher prevalence of allergic diseases compared to the control group, although food allergies were not significantly different. The researchers concluded that both genetic predisposition and environmental factors contribute to the development of allergic diseases, and further studies with larger sample sizes are needed to validate these findings. This research provides valuable insights into the link between ASD and allergic conditions. [Extracted from the article]
