Abstract

This article is about Three-dimensional (3D) printing technology or additive manufacturing which is an advanced technology developed during the late 20th century that involves construction of a threedimensional object from a CAD model or a digital 3D model. In recent times, rapid advancements in the three-dimensional (3D) printing technology, precise and customised manufacturing has been achieving gradual, benefitting biomedical application, especially in stomatology clinical practice. It has been broadly connected to the areas of prosthodontics, orthodontics, and maxillofacial surgery strategies, giving exact, proficient operation and promising treatment results. Recently the 3D printing industry has made huge strides in medical devices, implant materials, and cell printing by lowering manufacturing costs while improving printing accuracy and speed.
