Abstract
- A report from Uludag University in Bursa, Turkey discusses the characteristics of pediatric IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) based on a multicenter registry. The study recorded data from 35 children with IgG4-RD and found that the most common organ involvement was the eye, followed by lymph nodes, the musculoskeletal system, and the neurological system. Three clusters of patients were identified based on their specific disease manifestations. The study also evaluated the performance of diagnostic criteria and found that the 2020 revised comprehensive diagnostic criteria had better performance than the 2019 American College of Rheumatology and European League Against Rheumatism classification criteria in pediatric patients.
