Abstract
- The article focuses on the sources of predictable variance in job performance ratings. It argues that multiple sources, including person x source interactions, significantly impact the reliability and predictability of performance ratings, and provides empirical evidence indicating that the actual predictable variance is much higher than previously estimated.
