Abstract

The article discusses research which investigated the link between anti-transcriptional intermediary factor 1 (TIF1) gamma immunoglobulin G2 (IgG2) isotype and cancer in patients with juvenile dermatomyositis (JDM). Topics explored include the evaluation of the clinical conditions of anti-TIF1 gamma-positive patients, the anti-TIF1 gamma-IgG2 prevalence observed among ethnic groups, and the reported lack of connection between anti-TIF1 gamma-IgG2 and malignancy in concerned patients.
