Abstract
- The article focuses on the management of recurrent electrical storms in an 82-year-old patient with end-stage heart failure and ischaemic cardiomyopathy. Topics include the use of catheter ablation for left ventricular substrate modification and pulmonary vein isolation, the role of mechanical circulatory support with an Impella device during the procedure, and the challenge of managing electrical storms triggered by ventricular arrhythmias and atrial fibrillation.
