Abstract
- A study conducted by Ankara University in Turkey investigated the effects of spray-dried plasma (SDP) on the growth performance, carcass traits, tibia quality, and hemagglutination inhibition titers in broiler chickens fed two different nutritional strategies. The study found that broilers fed diets with high nutrient density (HND) showed increased feed intake and body weight gain, as well as reduced feed conversion ratio. The inclusion of SDP in the diet also improved growth performance during the starter phase. Additionally, SDP supplementation improved carcass yield and tibial bone quality. The study suggests that including SDP in the starter diet could be a beneficial nutritional strategy for improving the health and production of broilers. [Extracted from the article]
