Abstract

The article evaluates the phytochemical and antioxidative potential in Ocimum basilicum Lamiaceae by inducing variability using ethyl methane sulphonate in Uttarakhand, India. The study examines the yield of various crude extract of screened mutant of Ocimum basilicum L., as well as the presence of protein, alkaloids, amino acid, carbohydrates, flavonoids, tannins, phenolics and saponin in the mutants of Ocimum basilicum L.
