La seconda vita transmediale di Michel Houellebecq.

The aim of the essay is to reflect on the way in which over the past decade Houellebecq’s work and Houellebecq public persona have gone through a process of transmedialization. Indeed, his works have expanded beyond the written page in often original ways. At the same time, the author has been the object of transmedia expansions. After describing and commenting upon these two dynamics, in the last part of the essay I will draw a few broader conclusions from the “Houellebecq case” in order to reason about some of the changes that have affected the literary domain in recent years.
