Abstract
- A recent study conducted at Wuhan Fourth Hospital in China explored the relationship between vitamin D, sleep quality, and osteoarthritis (OA). The study found that while vitamin D may not influence OA, other risk factors such as advanced age, being female, and having a high BMI, especially poor sleep quality, were confirmed. The research used data from the CDC's NHANES project and concluded that sleep deprivation, advanced age, being female, and being overweight or obese are risk factors for OA.
