Abstract
- Researchers at the Evelyn F. McKnight Brain Institute have conducted a study on scleroproteins, specifically focusing on extracellular vesicles (EVs) in the brains of aged mice. The study found that EV fractions from aged mice contained higher levels of extracellular matrix proteins compared to younger mice, indicating age-dependent changes in EV proteins. This research sheds light on the potential role of EVs in the aging brain and their association with changes in the extracellular matrix.
