Abstract

A study conducted by Gazi University in Turkey and India examined the use of intraarticular corticosteroid injections (IACIs) in pediatric rheumatology for juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). The research found that IACIs are widely used for oligoarticular JIA, with varying practices among clinicians. The study highlighted the need for standardized protocols and further research to optimize IACI procedures and improve outcomes in managing JIA. This research was published in the European Journal of Pediatrics and has been peer-reviewed. [Extracted from the article]
