Abstract
- A study conducted at the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine Education & Research in Chandigarh, India, compared the effectiveness of compressed SENSE 3D MRCP with conventional 3D MRCP in children with pancreatitis. The research found that the newer compressed SENSE 3D MRCP resulted in a two-fold reduction in acquisition time with acceptable image quality, potentially reducing the need for long sedation during MRCP procedures. The study highlights the utility of this technology in improving diagnostic imaging for children with pancreatitis. [Extracted from the article]
